Asratemariam Dereje (b.1999), Painter, Artist and incredible kind passionate young human being. Born and raised in Addis Ababa the capital city of Ethiopia. He studied at the Pushkin Cultural Center of Russia and Enlightenment Art Academy and currently attending-Addis Ababa University Alle School of Fine Arts and Design.

Artist statment
As an artist, I had the privilege of growing up with an elderly person, which provided me with a unique opportunity to develop my characterand explore their perspectives and beliefs.This experience greatly influenced my artistic journey, and the various artistic plays and philosophies that surrounded me during my upbringing have become a significant source of inspiration for my artwork. My artistic style is recognized for its realistic and modern expressive approach.
